Woohoo! Summer is almost here! It’s time to strip off the puffy down coat and thermo-underlayers and climb into shorts, tank tops, and bikinis. Now, the only question is, “are you ready to show off those beautiful arms and thighs?” If you’re cringing at the thought of someone other than your unconditionally loving dog seeing the flab on your upper arms and the lumps on your thighs, never fear. We’ve got your back – and also CoolSculpting for your arms and thighs!
Nothing is more frustrating than working so hard to lose weight and discovering the unfortunate truth – some fat is simply diet- and exercise-resistant. What?? Do you mean this stuff isn’t going to go away before we slip into summer? Not on its own.
Luckily, we have the technology to smooth and sculpt out those stubborn fat areas. That’s what CoolSculpting does in a nutshell.
CoolSculpting Treatment
CoolSculpting freezes fat cells to remove stubborn fat, leaving a sculpted look. You may have heard of CoolSculpting treatment for love handles, muffin tops, and double chins. But do you know that CoolSculpting for arms and thighs is also very effective?
Here’s how CoolSculpting fat removal works
Cool sculpting isn’t just some fad. The technology is based on a fat freezing process called cryolipolysis. When CoolSculpting freezes fat cells, it blocks blood and oxygen from reaching your cells and kills them off. When the fat cells die, your body processes the dead cells and gets rid of them.
Does Fat Freezing Work?
Yes! The results are not immediate because it takes time for the treated fat cells to die. But after a few weeks, you’ll notice that the CoolSculpting areas have smoothed out and slimmed down. It’s a perfect solution for arms and thighs, as well as other areas.
However, you may find that this is not a one-and-done type of treatment. Sometimes, not all the targeted fat cells die. Or certain cells were not fully exposed to the freezing because other fat cells were in the way. If that’s the case, you’ll need to get a second treatment. For most people, a maximum of two CoolSculpting treatments provides the desired results.
Now, Let’s Talk About CoolSculpting and Flabby Arms
If you’ve got stubborn fat in your arms, no amount of diet or exercise will clear it out. If you want a slimmer, tighter, more natural-looking arm shape, then CoolSculpting arms is a viable option.
Unlike liposuction, CoolSculpting doesn’t require you to undergo an invasive surgery. See our comparison here and why we prefer CoolSculpting – and not only for stomach fat. Its innovative nonsurgical body-contouring approach can be a fantastic solution for flabby arms, too.
And How About Lumpy Thighs?
Ick! Even if you’ve sculpted your arms, abs, and buttocks, lumpy thighs can totally ruin that sexy bikini. For many people, CoolSculpting thighs results in a 25% decrease in stubborn fat. Each treatment takes under an hour, and there’s no recovery time or scars!
What to Expect When CoolSculpting Arms and Thighs
It’s a team effort.
When you meet with your CoolSculpting clinician, they’ll take the time to learn about your body goals. Together, you’ll look at your whole body from different angles – and discuss specific areas where you want to eliminate fat.
Then, because everyone’s different, your clinician will create a holistic approach to reshaping your body. This will include a customized plan to meet your body’s specific needs. Once you agree on a plan, it’s time for treatment!
1 Sit back and relax
After your customized treatment plan for CoolSculpting your arms and/or thighs has been designed, you’ll come in for your first appointment. You can bring a book, phone, or other device to keep you busy – or use this for some quiet “you” time.
First, the targeted fat loss area will be prepared for treatment. Don’t worry, there’s no anesthesia required, and CoolSculpting treatment is not painful.
Your CoolSculpting technician will apply the CoolSculpting device to the treatment areas and set the timers for the desired treatment time.
As your CoolSculpting treatment progresses, you’ll feel pressure and intense cold in the areas being treated. Your technician will make sure you’re comfortable and relaxed while the unique, controlled cooling technology safely and effectively freezes your unwanted fat cells. The number of areas being treated per visit determines the length of your session.
2 Get on with your day and watch the fat melt away.
The device will be removed at the end of the procedure. At this point, you’re free to go about your day as you please. Don’t expect to hop in that bikini immediately, though. Give it a few weeks to see results.
And cross your fingers that you’re one of those patients who sees results sooner! It can take your body up to 12 weeks to eliminate the frozen fat cells, so make your appointment as soon as possible for summer-ready thighs and arms.
What Other Areas Can Be Treated With CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is not fat removal surgery or a weight loss treatment. It’s a permanent solution for removing fat cells in targeted areas. CoolSculpting is safe and effective, approved by the FDA, and offers a permanent solution for fat removal and reshaping your body in the following areas:
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Thighs
- Bra fat
- Back fat
- Banana roll
- Upper arms
