We’re excited to announce that Dr. Norton has completed her Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine!
About Dr. Norton
Dr. Norton is always continuing her medical education and stretching her horizons. She has been a surgeon in her hometown of Denver since 1989.
- Her specialty is in treating vein disease and treating patients with hormone imbalances.
- Her many years as a breast surgeon offers her special insight on treating patients with a history of breast cancer and breast disease.
After spending over a decade treating patients with breast cancer, Dr. Norton became familiar with the devastation cancer can cause and what patients endure after the diagnosis.
She has spent a lot of time devoted to learning about how bio-identical hormone replacement treatment (BHRT) can be introduced to patients post-breast cancer.
Dr. Norton aims to address patients before they reach that point. And, she is well equipped and not afraid to help patients on the other side of that journey!
It’s All About Patients
After nearly a decade as the medical director at Saint Joseph Hospital Breast Care Center, Dr. Norton retired from Breast Surgery in December 2018. She then focused her efforts on preventative care and partnered with EVEXIAS Medical Centers and Dr. Terri DeNeui.
Her background in treating breast cancer patients and her journey with menopause sparked an interest in alternative wellness options. In this capacity, she provides patients with a new approach to healthcare, focusing on balancing hormones.
This Fellowship is the culmination of her goal to bring new approaches and tools to her patients on their wellness journey!
